Bishop Auckland in the Land of the Prince Bishops
We've been through the University of Youth and the University of Life.
Now is the University of our Third Age.

Retirement is your time
What is u3a? Members have said: -
- It's where I share my interests
- It's a Youth Club for Seniors
- u3a keeps me fit and active
- I'm never lonely, never bored
Who knew retirement could be so much fun? I laugh so much.
Monthly Open Meetings
Come along to one of our Town Hall meetings to talk to a few people and listen to one of our interesting talks. Our friendly team will show you around and tell you more to help you to decide if you would like to Join Us.

Our Interest Groups
At the heart of every u3a across the country are study and interest groups and at the heart of every group are people just like us. A group can be just two people sharing an interest around the kitchen table or 100+ in a rented space. There are more than 25 groups in our u3a from art, architecture and history, through languages and literature, to bowling, walking, indoor games and outings. Join as many as you have time for.
What could you enjoy?
