On Tuesday, 5th October 2027 we shall hold our annual planning meeting. Doors open at 9.30 for a 10 am start with a view to having the room cleared by noon. As usual this meeting will review the previous year and outlook the plan for 2028 to gain member approval and so that subs can be set.

The plant swap was a new idea for 2025 thanks to Eileen and Sue, but some members said that holding it in September was a little too soon as it was too early to split and pot on many perennials. This was a good point so the 2026 and 2027 dates are in October . This is also a time when our growers of fruit and vegetables often have a glut of produce so items such as these can be added to the swap table for 2027.

The swaps will probably follow the same format as 2025 so please bring carrier bags if you think you won't be going home empty handed. Nothing that members bring must be left on Church premises so if whatever you bring is not wanted by anyone else then please take it home. Instructions related to plants that you bring to swap will be circulated nearer the time.

Bookings for this event will start in July and end in September.
