On 20th September 28 members of the group travelled to Castle Howard and despite a rather misty autumnal day enjoyed the baroque splendours of the house and the grounds including the Temple of the Four Winds, the Atlas Fountain the gardens, the lakes and the Mausoleum. As a bonus there was an exhibition of contemporary sculpture by Liverpudlian sculptor, Tony Craggs.
